MOVIE REVIEW: SELMA

I saw Selma, last night. It was actually a pretty good movie. Not stereotypical. Not boring. Pretty informative. Phenomenal storyline. Explosive performances. It's worth the time. Mr. O was spectacular as Dr. King. The accent & mannerisms were spot on. Ms. O was riveting as Ms. Cooper. The actors' deliveries gave the icons of the civil rights movement a human appeal. I became enthralled in the emotions of that time. The ending only leaves you wanting more. You should definitely check it out....

Race has always been a hot button topic for the American people. Blame it on the guilt of slavery - or whatever you may - but it has remained a subject that raises eyebrows as well as voices within communities for almost two hundred years. The inequality for African Americans in the Uniyed States as it differentiates from their white counterparts is staggering! Yet, we as a people, blatantly deny the facts, clues, and disadvantages. We will only rise up as a united people when we can finally come to terms with our very own open secret. We will, first, have to admit our nation's past wrong-doings and it's effect on generations of a people. Will we ever have that ability? Our nation depends on it.

　Alien-based shows are popular TV viewing(What are they trying to tell us?)

　Scandals were in; no Kerry Washington(& I do mean scandals, baby!)

　2 Chianz was everywhere (Every- damn-where!)

　Nicki Minaj was everywhere (Every-damn-where!)

　Mike Will Made It All (He did! Check your playlist!)

　Nick Cannon's on every channel (You already know he is!)

    JT wins the blue-eyed soul-off beating RT & Drake (JT ain't going nowhere! He's just getting started!)
